Human Rights Policy
Our Commitment
At Beeb's, we are committed to upholding and promoting human rights across every aspect of our business. As a company dedicated to sustainability, transparency, and craftsmanship, we recognize that our responsibility extends beyond environmental stewardship to include the dignity and well-being of every person touched by our operations.
This Human Rights Policy formalizes our commitment to conducting business with respect, fairness, and integrity. It guides how we engage with our team, suppliers, partners, customers, and communities.
As a small, founder-led company, we are in the early stages of formalizing many of our practices. This policy represents both our current values and our commitment to continuous improvement as we grow.
Guiding Frameworks
Our approach is anchored in internationally recognized human rights standards, including:
- Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR)
- International Labour Organization (ILO) Core Conventions
- United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights
- UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP)
- UN Convention on the Rights of the Child
- OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises
- UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) and SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production)
We believe businesses share a responsibility with governments to prevent, address, and remediate adverse human rights impacts. Our actions are modeled on the UN Guiding Principles, which outline three core responsibilities:
- A clear and public commitment to human rights
- A due diligence process to identify, prevent, mitigate, and account for human rights risks
- Access to remedy for individuals or groups who may be impacted
Scope
This policy applies to all aspects of Beeb's operations, including:
- Company founders, employees, and contractors
- Suppliers and manufacturing partners
- Business partners and distributors
- All business interactions throughout our supply chain
